As soon as I seen this look on Gossip Girl and many F21 ads, as well as magazines like Vogue, Elle, Flare, etc. I loved it. I love the look that Heels and socks give off. This look has been out since 2007 and beyond; thanks to the old men with the sandals and sock vibe, but it's been getting a lot more exposure. It's like a playful, school-girl vibe. I personally think the look, looks it best when it's paired with a flowy skirt or rolled-up boyfriend jeans. I am looking forward into trying this trend in the coming spring with many pictures to come; although I wouldn't put a HANES sock on with a Christian L shoe it works well with a sheer sock.
