Inspired by the early twentieth century street photography of the Seeberger Brothers, Jason Wu's pre-fall 2011 collection provided a mix of masculine and feminine silhouettes. Soft, ethereal dresses and gowns in chiffon and satin charmuese contrasted with sturdy tweed tailored separates. The collection's color palette is refreshing for fall, with optimistic tones of salmon pink, poppy red and ink blue, undercut with graphic black and bone white. We especially love the designer's attention to detail, demonstrated in lace layering, beaded trims and intricate ruffles.
