The above shots were taken from an amazing site called: Satorialist in which my friend shown me months ago and I've been in love ever since. I love the cool floral 'fit the girl in the first picture has while providing a neutral edge with her grey loafers. While the other girl completeley stunting in black which can be a no-no in the Summer, she pulls it off in a hot (ironic) and cool way. I love the edginess of this outfit that can transition into the F/W season perfectly.
Zoe Saldana is in Balmain with Brian Atwood heels at the premeire of Captain America. I love this look because of the forest green accents, and although, I'm not a fan of matching, she pulls it together with the wooden and brown accessories.
Model Eva Pigford is mixing high and low effortlessly with Christian Loub's and a embellished frock tunic by the trendy Topshop. She does a good job of showing that you can mix your splurge items with a vintage or "sale item" price piece making it work.
Followed by a mysterious girl in Europe with a mesh long skirt braving the hot sun. I absolutely loved this look and want to get it made in a similar style for a birthday outfit I have in mind for my 20th in October. I love how she's showing skin, but not exactly as she remains covered up.
Not only do my "favourite looks of the week" have to do with clothes, but also beauty. I love the use of bronzer that she uses to give her a "sun-kissed" glow at a evening summer party. The short hair with the big earrings also give her face an added edge that is distinctive and original.
Last but not least, my fav. girl Solo. I love this outfit, it's giving me a Gucci S/S 2011 look while adding her own personal touches. I love everything about this outfit, and it shows that minimal items or pieces can be a great idea and let you stand out in a crowd effortlessly. She gets an A+ as she's easily my favourite look of the week, without even trying.
